TARIO, Wilma Pauline (Ritchie). It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Wilma Pauline Tario (nee Ritchie) on Saturday, December 11, 2010 in Calgary. She was born on May 06, 1931, Michichi, Alberta and passed away at the age of 79 years. Wilma will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by all who ever met her, and is survived by her five children Wendy, Denis(Wanda), Brenda(Randy), Brad (Bonnie) and Brent(Debbie). Wilma was deeply cherished by her grandchildren, Sky(Hamid), Dalyn, Karlee, Brayden, Kenton(Kim), Mason, Bryan, Courtney, Brittney, Nolan and Evan as well as her great-grandchildren, Lane, Tegan, and Tori and her memory will live on with them forever. Wilma is also survived by her precious sister Dell and all her wonderful family. Wilma was predeceased by her much loved husband Earl in 1991, her parents Bill and Pauline Ritchie and her brother Kent, whose surviving children and families were treasured by her. Wilma was loved by all her relatives from both sides of the family and was dear to a countless number of amazing friends. She held many people close to her heart like all her past neighbours, workmates at "The Crossroads", Calgary CO-OP, and her Seniors Skating Group until she broke her shoulder years ago. Over the last few years she loved her Friends at The Sunrise Lodge in Olds, The Sunshine Lodge in Drumheller and all her friends around Drumheller. Wilma always had a wonderful warm smile for everyone she met and always filled the room with happiness and love. Wilma loved skating, reading, music, politics and Canadian history, and was most at home under the big prairie sky. The family wishes to thank the physicians, surgeons, nurses, front-end staff and all involved in her extraordinary care at Unit 36, Special Services Building, Foothills Hospital. Please join the family in celebrating Wilma's life Saturday, December 18th at 2pm in Drumheller, arrangements in care of Courtney-Winters Funeral Home.
