It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Susan Marie DeFoor on July 28, 2026 at the age of 75 years, in Red Deer, Alberta. Susie was born in Drumheller on September 6, 1950 to Evo and Doris DeFoor. Susie was born with Cerebral Palsy in her right arm and right leg. She spent many summers in Winnipeg at the Shriners Hospital. Travelling by train by herself, that was the beginning of her independence. She was loved by everyone that she knew. Always smiling and happy. Quick with the one liners or a goat joke. Susie was never able to play sports, ride a bike, drive a car or work. When she bought her first scooter, it was a new beginning for her. She loved riding around talking to people and giving the little people a ride. She never complained about anything. Loved going for coffee with Remie and Diane, going for pancake breakfasts in East Coulee to meet old friends and mane new ones. Susie leaves behind brothers; Remie, Tim, Richard, Gordon, sisters' Eva, Ruth, Cindy, Tammy and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no formal funeral service.
