In Memory of Steven Michael O’Brien
Steven Michael O’Brien of Drumheller passed away suddenly on September 10, 2026, at the age of 57 years.
Born in Plymouth, England, on September 11, 1968, Steve will be remembered for his kindness, quirky beliefs, passion for computers and video games, fascination with the unexplained, and appreciation of a fine whiskey.
Steve loved his wife, Christine, deeply, as well as his two boys, Connor and Kieran, and his beloved granddaughter, Izzy. He enjoyed fishing and golfing with his sons and camping with his family, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
Steve is survived by his sons, Connor O’Brien (Tesla) and Kieran O’Brien (Brooke); his father, Tim O’Brien; his brothers, Anthony O’Brien, Brian O’Brien, and Shaun O’Brien; his sister, Louise Baerg; his sisters-in-law, Alison O’Brien, Renee O’Brien, and Sarah O’Brien; his brother-in-law, Raymond Baerg; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
There will be no formal funeral service for Steven as per his request.
