Rosemary Gaye Rosin

Our beloved Rosemary Rosin earned her wings and was called home to heaven on September 22nd, 2023.  She was surrounded by her loving family at the Consort Hospital.

Rosemary, loving wife, Mother and Grandmother was born in Drumheller on February 9th, 1959, to Carol and Edward Vogstad.   She is survived by her husband Larry Rosin and four children; Lacey Bellerive (Trevor), Layton Rosin (Melissa), Cori Black (Kirby), Dione Rosin and grandchildren; Kylie, Lena, Abby, Ciana, Chloe, Emma, Liam, Mairi, Sabella, Charlee, Mataeah, Sykes and Thayne, father Edward Vogstad and Siblings; Marilee Allerdings (Erwin), Jardi Clark, Virginia Redel (Alan) and Carl Vogstad (Tresa).   Rosemary is also remembered by plenty of nieces, nephews and friends.   Rosemary was predeceased by her mother Carol.

Rosemary was indeed an adventurous person who grew up on the Echo Coulee Ranch in the Dalum community.  She married Larry Rosin in 1980 and raised 4 wonderful children on their ranch in the Hand Hills.   Rosemary had a special love for animals and enjoyed the great outdoors:  hiking, camping and riding horses with her family.   She was a talented artist, with a passion for singing, photography and painting.

A celebration of life for Rosemary Rosin will be held at the Hand Hills Lake Club House at 2 pm, September 29, 2023, followed by a luncheon.

Memorial donations may be made to Consort Hospital Auxiliary, 5402 52nd Avenue, Consort, Alberta, T0C 1B0.  Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Homes are in care of the arrangements.
