Garrett, Robert Samuel - December 30, 2010 Robert (Bob) Samuel Garrett passed away in his sleep December 30, 2010 at the age of 81 years. He is the beloved husband of Mrs. Vera Bernice Garrett. Robert Garrett was born and raised in Carbon and operated Garrett Motors until the year 2000. He was an active member of the Carbon United Church as well as a member of the Masonic Lodge for over 25 years. Robert is survived by his wife Vera of fifty years and his two sons: Bentley Robert and Clark Samuel and his wife Kelly. Granddaughters Jessica and Karlee from Carbon, Alberta and his brother Wayne (Elaine) from Didsbury, AB.
A Memorial Service was held at the Carbon Baptist Church on January 6th, 2011 at 2:00 P.M, in Carbon, Alberta. Reverends Wendy Galloway and Richard Kauenhofen officiated. A Private Family interment was held at the Carbon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honour of Robert to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta & N.W.T.
