April 26, 1966 ~ January 8, 2013 Richard William Donald was born April 26, 1966 to his loving Mother, Doreen Donald, in Gimli, Manitoba. Richie passed peacefully from this life the morning of January 8, 2013 in his home in Drumheller, Alberta.
Richie always had a wise word, a smile and an ear for everyone around him. Richie always had a time to listen to you but he also had the time to talk your ear off if you let him. His laughter was a testament of the love ha had for life and for those close to him.
Richie was also the type of person who never wanted to burden anyone with his own problems. He was always quick to help those who asked, ready to lend a hand when needed and was always ready to grab a beer with his friends and family to toast life.
If Richie was feeling down in life, you would never know it. He will always be remembered for his commanding presence, his unwavering joyful nature and his love for the simple pleasures in life.
Love for Richie, was his Mother, his brothers, his extended family and his friends. He had a unique relationship with Elvis Presley. If you knew Richard Donald; you knew Elvis Presley and the reasoning for his devotion to the King.
The news of Richie's passing left family and friends' grief stricken, but Richie's expectations of us all would be to stay strong, to be good to those around us and to reach out to those less fortunate every day. Above all, he would want us to be happy.
