Remembering Lindsay Hay Lindsay Hay, the beloved husband of Rose Hay, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on October 4, 2011 at the age of 81 years. Lindsay was raised in the Carbon area where he farmed the family homestead until moving to Drumheller in 2009.
He is survived by his wife Rose, his step-children; Heather (Ron) Plett, Myron (Marian) Bettcher and Brenda (Kevin) Anderson, and grandchildren; Matthew (Bri) Plett, Ryan Plett, Melissa (Rob) Spencer, Melanie Bettcher and Ethan Anderson, and great granddaughters Gillian Spencer and Ariella Plett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as extended family.
A private family service was held at the Carbon Cemetery. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the homecare staff, the nursing staff at the Linden and Drumheller Health Care Centers and to lifelong physician Dr. Miller, for their care, compassion and kindness shown to Lindsay.
