Linda was born in Luscar, Alberta on March 27, 1930 to Tony and Adele Mucci. The Family moved to Drumheller when Linda was in her teens and she lived in Drumheller the rest of her life. Linda had a long career in the valley starting in Toschach's Clothing store and Toshach's Style Shop. She moved over to Jimmy's Supermarket as a cashier and spent 20 years working there. She was employed at Vickers Bros in the hardware and grocery stores. She ended her career at the Co-op, working in the furniture and grocery departments. Along with her pleasant smile and attitude, she was well known for having the fastest fingers in town when it came to punching numbers on a till and could add the numbers in her head almost as fast as the machine. In 1972 she was deeply honored when she won the Rotary club's Most Courteous employee of the Year award. Linda enjoyed berry picking and spent her younger years cooking jams and jellies with her mother. She will be remembered for her big family dinners, shortbread cookies and jelly salads. No one who went to her house left hungry. Linda's hobbies included cooking, going to garage sales, spending time at Wal-Mart and watching Jeopardy on TV. She had lots of fun playing card games, Rumoli, Scrabble and Crazy 8's with her friends.
