Remembering Elizabeth Mae Tresham
July 10, 1946 - August 10, 2011 Elizabeth Mae Tresham passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness at the Drumheller Hospital on August 10th, 2011 at the age of 65.
Elizabeth was born on July 10th, 1946 in Sucker Creek, ON. Elizabeth, also affectionately known as "Grandma" or "Mum" by all who knew her, was predeceased by her parents Grace and Peter Esquimaux, her brothers Larry, Arnold, Douglas, Shad and her sister Wanita Esquimaux, as well as her loving husband Ernest "Duke" Tresham. Elizabeth is survived by her children Ernest "Guy", Leah and Donna Tresham, her precious grandchildren Shelby Nelson, Crystal Primrose, Brittany Siddon, Christina Petersen, Michael Tresham, and great-grandbaby Alexis, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Grandma enjoyed her family and friends, camping and fishing and will be greatly missed for her superior tasting bannock.
A Celebration of Elizabeth's life will be held in Rumsey (date and time to be announced). Memorial donations in Elizabeth's name can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Courtney-Winters Funeral Home (403-823-2666) entrusted with arrangements.
