Remembering Alvin John Stotz
April 3, 1932 ~ March 4, 2014 Alvin passed away peacefully in Hanna. Alvin's early years were spent in school and on the family farm at Craigmyle. After leaving farming in the mid 1970's he moved to Hanna and resided with his mother Bertha. Alvin worked for the town of Hanna for over a decade and dedicated himself to his posting with the public works department. After spending a few years in retirement he relocated to Drumheller to enjoy new found friends and activities.
Alvin is survived by his twin sister Alma Albright (Edward) (deceased) of Delia, sister Ida and Willard Steeves of Chestermere, his older sister Doris Labatt (deceased) of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service for Alvin will be held on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Courtney -Winters Funeral Home with Pastor Curtis Boehm officiating.
