Virginia Mary Louise Holecz

June 21, 1938 – August 22, 2022

Mary passed away on August 22, 2022 at the Drumheller Health Centre Continuing Care Memory Lane at the age of 84 years.

Mary was born on June 21, 1938 in Medicine Hat, Alberta, she was one of seven children.

Mary moved to Drumheller and married her faithful companion George in 2011.  The couple travelled to Hungary and B.C., which were trips Mary enjoyed.  The couple spent their retirement years in East Coulee.  Mary enjoyed doing puzzles, numerous crafts, knitting, she was an expert cook, baker and canner.  She loved her garden.  Mary loved her cup of tea every day.  She will missed by her family.

Mary was predeceased by her husband George and numerous other family members.

Mary leaves to mourn daughters Debbie (Louie), Jean (Brian), grandsons Mark (Mary), Rob (Olga) Scott, Chad, Ethan, numerous great grandchildren and other family members.

As per Mary’s request, there will not be any formal funeral services.  Memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Society of Canada (Rheumatoid), 393 University Avenue, Suite 1700, Toronto, Ontario, M5G 1E6.  Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Homes are in care of the arrangements.
