Tanja Louise (Stiller) Baker

" Tanja Louise Baker (nee Stiller) was born September 24, 1972 to Fritz and Gerda Stiller at Red Deer General Hospital. Tanja was the youngest of four siblings who spent her youth living on farms in the Alberta communities of Clive and Delburne attending Satinwood and Delburne Centralized schools.

In her teens the family moved to Red Deer and Tanja completed her secondary education at Camille J. Lerouge High School. She furthered her education in Red Deer by attending and graduating from Marvel Business college which lead to her securing a job in the professional office of a Podiatrist in Red Deer.

At this time Tanja met and fell in love with Wes (Baker); after a 2 year courtship they married and moved to Calgary so that Wes could pursue post-secondary education. Shortly after settling in Calgary Tanja gave birth to their first child; this slide into motherhood had her explore School Bus Driving as a means to make some money while caring for her child. It became a labour of love that turned into a career that lasted almost 30 years during which she became the mother to 3 more children.

Tanja was a very unique individual who was graced with countless gifts and talents which shone threw in her stunning artwork and brilliant crafts. Tanja had a huge heart from which flowed an abundance of caring and love which she showered upon family, friends, neighbours, as well as members of her community.  Tanja will be remembered as a devote steward of divine fellowship who is loved and missed by all. "

Tanja was predeceased by her father Fritz, and her brother Dietmar.

Tanja leaves to cherish her memory her husband Wesley, two daughters Tatijana IJaibie), Halleise, two sons Derriston (Krystina), Grier, one grandchild Delighla, one sister Christine, her mother Gerda, one brother Martin.

Service of Remembrance will be held Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Dalum, Dalum, Alberta with Pastor Dan Hendrickson officiating.
