Randolph (Randy) Eldon

June 16, 1948 – January 25, 2026

Randy Jensen passed away peacefully on January 25,2026 in Drumheller at the age of 77.

Randy, the first born of 4 siblings was born in Calgary, AB on June 16,1948 to Ralph & Gladys Jensen.

Randy was raised in Rosebud and spent his youth on the farm making memories with friends and family as well as attending school in Rosebud and Standard,

When Randy was finished school, he went up North and ran heavy equipment for a telephone company burying cable.

In 1971 Randy married Marlene Dopking and resided in Calgary.  Randy’s brother Dale and Marlene’s Sister Evelyn married in1972 and the siblings bought a house, and all lived together in NE Calgary along with younger brother Larry.

In 1975 Randy & Marlene moved to Bassano where he worked for AGT. His brothers had started a plumbing company there at that time also, so all the brothers were together.

In 1977 they were blessed with their first Child, Dale.     

In 1979 The family moved to Drumheller where Randy continued to work for AGT. It was there in 1979 they had their daughter Cara and in 1980 their son Chad. The family was complete.

Randy was very busy travelling with his boys for hockey and was very involved in the sport.

In 1998 Randy applied to work overseas. He worked and travelled extensively throughout Europe and China. He said he could finally purchase clothes in a big and tall store in China.  From there he worked in Mexico and the USA. He fulfilled his dream of seeing the world.

In later years, he found companionship with Telenea Roberto with whom he shared many meaningful years.

Randy had a mischievous sense of humor and loved making people laugh.  He was a true prankster all the way to the end.

Randy is survived by his children, Dale Jensen, Chad (Carissa) Jensen and Cara Jensen. His grandchildren; Keshia (Thomas) Schow, Aisen McInnis, Lexi McInnis, Taylor (Colby) Notland, and Jordynn Jensen. Great grandchildren; Emmitt Schow, Ben Schow and Marlen Schow.

Randy is also survived by younger brother Larry (Glenda) Jensen and sister Laurie (Darrell) Berlando and numerous cherished nieces, nephews and friends.

Randy is survived by his partner Telenea Roberto and extended family Angel LeBlanc, Jamie (Camille) Leblanc and their children Brady Leblanc, Kassidy LeBlanc, Raelynn LeBlanc.

Randy was predeceased by his parents Ralph & Gladys Jensen, his brother Dale Jensen, niece Jana Jensen and former wife Marlene Jensen.

As per Randy’s request, there will be no service. A private celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, Randy would wish you to donate to the Drumheller Humane Society.
