Heaven Sent, and Heaven Bound:
In Loving Memory of Nancy Etnie Ann Marshall
March 15, 1959 – June 2025
With sad hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Wife, Mother, Sister, Amma, Aunt, and Friend, Nancy Etnie Ann Marshall. Nancy passed restfully, enveloped in love by her children and family. Blessed with prayer, Nancy graduated to her heavenly home at the age of 66 years young.
She was a woman of deep faith, unwavering love, and radiant kindness. She lived her life in service of her Saviour and Redeemer, the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a devoted wife, nurturing mother, cherished sister, proud grandmother, loving aunt, loyal friend, and a fierce prayer warrior who gave her heart freely to those around her. Known for her joyful spirit and the beauty she brought to every occasion, Nancy made holidays and special events unforgettable. Her creative touch, thoughtful heart, and warm presence were a gift to all who knew her.
Nancy also had a great sense of adventure. In her retirement years, she and the love of her life, Peter, set out on a cross-Canada RV journey — visiting the people she loved, exploring the beauty of the country, and making new friends everywhere they went. These years of travel were filled with laughter, prayer, stories, and the kind of joy that comes from living life to the fullest.
Her favourite place was the beach, lying under blue skies, watching clouds drift by, or floating in the water with the sun on her face. She found beauty in the simple things and peace in God’s presence.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Peter Ralph Marshall; her three children and their spouses; and her dearly loved grandchildren. She also leaves behind her siblings, nieces and nephews and their families, and countless friends and extended family who were blessed by her presence, prayers, and love.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Mount Olive Church, 705,6th Ave. South, Three Hills, Alberta, Friday, June 27, 2025 at 10:00 A.M.-11:30 A.M. with a light lunch to follow.
The service will also be available via private livestream for those unable to attend in person.
