Lynnette Marie (Steinwand) Upton

Lynnette Marie (Steinwand)Upton was born December 20, 1977, and passed away at home Sunday, May 28, 2023 after a short but courageous fight with cancer.

She is survived by her husband, Dallas, sons Jackson (Leah), Ryder (Roberta), Mom Justine Steinwand, siblings Valerie (Jerry), Dennis (Jacquie), Darlene (Don), Gerald (Marla), in-laws Cliff and Ida Upton, Shane (Krista) nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and numerous friends.  She was predeceased by her father Rudolph Steinwand and her grandparents.

Lynnette grew up and went to school in the Holden area.  She ventured out in life and moved in with her sister Darlene and family in the Acme area right after graduating.  It was there she met the love of her life; Dallas and the rest is history as they say.  They spent the first few years of their life in Stettler, before they moved and made their life in Drumheller with their two boys. 

Lynnette fiercely loved her boys, her family, and her nieces and nephews. 

A Celebration of Life will be held for Lynnette on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 2:00 at the Church of the Nazarene (Drumheller) with Pastor Carlos Calderon officiating.  The family invites everyone to come and share a time of fellowship and light refreshments following the service in the Nazarene Church Hall.

If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Drumheller Area Health Foundation (Cancer Clinic specifically).  Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Homes are in care of the arrangements.
