Lynn Marion Valentine (nee Venner)

June 27, 1944 ~ January 6, 2025

“There is another star in Heaven now”!

Lynn was born on June 27, 1944, in Lloydminster, SK to George and Bernada Venner, she was the youngest of three children.  Lynn was raised in Paradise Valley, Alberta.  Lynn moved to Drumheller in the summer of 1971, she gained employment and the Bank of Montreal where she worked from 1971 to her retirement in 1997.  After just a couple months of retirement, Lynn went back to work part time at Wade’s Jewelry until 2009.

Lynn was predeceased by her parents, brother Frank Venner, brother Ken Venner, sister-in-law June Venner and chosen sister Freda Hird.

Lynn leaves to mourn her daughter Kathy, sister-in-law Lyla (Frank), niece and nephews Janet, Brian, Rod, Tim, Ken and their families, and Dan Hird and his family.

Thank you to all the staff and Doctors at the Drumheller Health Centre for the excellent care and compassion given to Lynn and her daughter Kathy during her stay in hospital.  As per Lynn’s wishes there will be no formal funeral services.  If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Drumheller Area Health Foundation (Acute Care or Palliative Care).
