Leslie Stephen "Les, Lesco"
January 11, 1958 - August 29, 2025
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Leslie Stephen Pinter, who passed away after a short illness but with great courage at the Drumheller Hospital at the age of 67.
A man who lived with an adventurous spirit and always looking for a laugh, Les found his greatest joys in life's simple pleasures. He had a deep love for his little family: his beloved dog Xena, cat Johnny and parrot Jasper, whom he cherished with all his heart. Les was known for his love of the open road, whether he was going fishing, visiting friends, or simply driving with no set destination. He was a true enthusiast of fast cars and good times.
Les was a man of strong convictions who was never afraid to stand up for what he believed in.
He is survived by his son, Karstien (Stephanie), his grandchildren Grainger and Grace, brothers David (Christine) and Jim. Les was predeceased by his father Chester, mother Annabelle and sister Shelley.
A celebration of life will be held in Rosedale at the community hall from 1pm-3pm, Saturday, September 6. All are welcome to attend and share memories of Les, in lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to the Drumheller and District Humane Society in Les's name.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Please do not order flowers off this site.
