It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Leah. We take comfort in knowing that her Mom and her beloved fur baby Benny were there to greet her. Leah's remarkable legacy lives on through her brother Tyler Madraga, her grandparents, Mike and Dawn Thompson and her new puppy Kubi, as well as many other close friends and family.

Leah's life was a testament to her unwavering resilience and determination in the face of lifelong health struggles. Her compassionate heart beat strong for all animals, and she was a fierce advocate for the underdog. Leah's spirit was unstoppable, and she achieved greatness in every pursuit, from completing her education to graduating from hairdressing college. Her dream car, a beautiful Mini Cooper, was a symbol of her unbridled enthusiasm for life. May Leah's remarkable journey inspire us all to live life to the fullest. Rest with the Angels Leah.

A celebration of Leah's life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation in honor of Leah's courageous spirit.
