It is with heavy hearts we say goodbye to a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, uncle & papa Lanny. Lanny leaves to cherish his memory; his wife Beverley (McLean) Holmen of 47 years and 2 children Natalie (Greg), and Carson (Ashley), plus 4 grandchildren: Eden, Kennedy, Spencer, and Mason.

Lanny was predeceased by his father John Holmen. He is survived by his mother Myrtle, sisters Janice (Tim) Hawkings, Rhonda (Frank) Espegren, and brother Wallace as well as numerous neices and nephews.

Lanny will be deeply missed especially by those who ever had the pleasure of sharing a story or laugh with him. We will always remember his adventurous spirit, his infectious humor, and his ability to find joy in both the quiet of the fields and the bustling streets of the world.

Funeral Service to be held at Dalum Lutheran Church on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 2:00pm with a celebration of life & luncheon to follow at the Dalum Community Hall.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Dalum Lutheran Church or a charity of choice.
