Kenneth Allen Rebus

Kenneth Allen Rebus November 28, 1961 - August 23, 2025, It is with deep sorrow that we have to announce that our beloved brother Kenny passed away on Saturday August 23. Kenny is survived by his siblings Judy (dec. Gene) Ostrowski, Maryanne (Alan) Farmer, Terry (Susan), Robert (Renee), Holly and Mark. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Mary, sister Gloria, brothers Gene and Brian. Also mourning are Aunties Rita and Olga, cousins -nieces and nephews: Rolland, Jason, Vincent, Jeremy (Jocelyn), Chad, Tracy (Michelle), Melissa (Greg), Jeff (Stephanie), Robbie Jr (Chelsey), Rachelle (Chris), Raeanne (Alex) and Alisha (Jason). As well Kenny had numerous great nieces and nephews and even a few great, great niece and nephews. Kenny started work at Jager Plastering, Rebus Exteriors, as well as union jobs (LIUNA) on the pipelines and shutdowns. He ended his work life with his own painting company Ken’s Painting where his handiwork can be seen around town When he was 18, he caught the travel bug after travelling to California with three high school friends. Other favourite places were Thailand, Vietnam, Cuba and Mexico. Kenny was such a kind, generous and loving man who would literally give the shirt off his back or shoes from his feet if he thought someone else needed it more than him. He loved walking and cycling through town. Kenny’s gardening skills were amazing following in his mom’s footsteps. The family would like to thank the all the staff at the Drumheller Hospital for their care to our brother! In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 55 St Clair Avene West Suite 300, Toronto Ontario, M4V 2Y7. or a charity of your choice. A service will be held at the St. Anthony's Church on Friday Sept 5 at 2pm. Followed by a Celebration of life at the St. Anthony's Hall.
