Jeff was a man who couldn’t look at a piece of junk without seeing a challenge.  He lived for the moment of seeing a ‘left for dead’ vehicle and knowing he had to bring it back to life!

He brought the same passion to his day job transforming dirt berms into beautiful landscapes with the trees he planted.

But Jeff’s real passion was taking his family camping.  His absolute happiest days were spent on the water in the motorboat with his kids in tow!

He was the guy everyone called because everyone knew he would show.  If Grandma Olsen’s eavestroughs needed repair, he was up on the roof.  If she found a hedgehog under her deck he was on his knees making a rescue plan.  Jeff was the only man for the job!  If Jesse needed help towing a car, or McKena needed some help with her car, he was willing and able to fix anything.

Jeff was a protector, a builder and a steady rock for those he loved.  He leaves behind his proudest achievements, his kids: McKena, Justice, Hailey, Meadow and Layla.  He loved spending time in his garage which is full of projects he will have to finish in his next life.  He leaves a legacy of grease-stained hands, sunburned kids, friends and family who loved him.

We chose to forgo a formal funeral for a gathering “Jeff style” with his favourite meal of smoked brisket, salads, baked beans, buns, pickles and cold beer!  Thank you to everyone who helped with the food, preparation, and cleanup.  And thank you for the calls, cards, and for being there.

We will miss his capable hands and ready smile every day.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to the STARS crew and ICU staff at Foothills Hospital who fought alongside him for 12 days before Jeff passed away due to injuries from a serious car accident.  Special thank you to those who came to see him in the hospital like lifelong friends Jesse Bulechowsky, Francisco (Franny) Sanchez, and Casey Wagner.

Jeff will be forever missed by his family: Mom Becky; Partner Dwayne Pascoe and their daughter Amy; his kids and partner, Tawny Markiewicz; Grandma Olsen; Uncle Brad; Aunts Deanna and Sherri and their families; the Morse family: Tom and Gale Pozzolo, Randy and Tracy Harrison, and Darcy and family. Jeff was predeceased by Dad Terry, Grandma and Grandpa Morse, Grandma Baler, and Papa John Olsen.

Jeff, you were never boring and so full of life.  We will miss you.
