Gladys Alice Osborne
Gladys was born at Clarks Crossing, Saskatchewan on October 7, 1929, and she passed on July 20, 2025, at the ripe old age of 95. Mom passed with a broken heart from the loss of her son Gilbert on June 15, 2025.
Gladys was the beloved mother of Guy and his wife Wendy, daughter Gay and husband Larry, daughter in-law Dianne, her baby brother All and his wife Lorette Leedahl, grand and great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Gladys has gone to be with her husband George, son Gilbert, parents Bertha and Clarence, brother Cliff, Wilf, sisters Marie, Vi, Delores and daughter in law Cheryl.
Gladys was a sports nut from the word go, and the biggest Blue Jays fan of all time.
At this very moment she is on the ball diamond playing short stop with her girl friends and best friend Joan Howe. I honestly believe they were waiting for her to show up. Her best friend Joan was Gordie Howe’s baby sister, Gordie always said Gladys was the best women’s fast ball short stop in all of Saskatchewan. That is a pretty big compliment come from the greatest hockey player of all time.
We know Gladys (Mom) is wearing the biggest smile ever, being with family and friends in the great unknown, but in the same breath we want her to know how much she is loved and missed down here.
“Until we meet again, Happy Trails Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma, Auntie, Great Auntie and Sister”.
Love Always, Your treasured Family.
PS; Gilbert you are the bat boy now.
