George William Langille Jr.

July 23, 1951 ~ November 20, 2025

George William Langille Jr. passed away peacefully with his family by his side on November 20, 2025 at the age of 74 years.

George was born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late George William Langille Sr. and the late Margaret Jannette Langille (Surthland).

He leaves to mourn his loving wife Elizabeth Ann (Betty) Langille (Richard) of 53 years and his daughter Diane (Paul), grandsons Nicholas (Tkaya), Braden, his great grandchildren Damon, Isabella, his brothers and sisters; Henry (Debbie), Micheal, David, Carl, John, Lorraine (Jim), Margaret (Bill), Catherine, all from Westville, Nova Scotia, and numerous nieces and nephews.

George was a member of the St. John’s Baptist Church, prior to his retirement in 2015, he was a very proud underground coal miner, and he was a member of the UMWA all of his life.  George will be sadly missed by his loving family.
