Eva Louise Anderson of Carbon, Alberta wife of the late Lloyd Melvin Anderson passed away on September 6, 2021 at the age of 90 years.
Eva was born on September 8, 1930 in Red Lodge, Montana. Eva married her husband Lloyd “Bud” Anderson on November 30, 1949 in Red Lodge and moved to Canada. She led a very busy life as a farmer/rancher’s wife and loved many things; gardening, art, crafts, cake decorating, travel/cruising to Alaska, rodeo and chuckwagon racing. One of Eva’s proudest moments was when she became a Canadian Citizen in March of 2008. She was an active member for many years with the Three Hills Royal Purple. She will be sadly missed by her loving family.
Eva was predeceased by her husband Lloyd “Bud” Anderson, her parents Paul & Lorena Brickman, her sister Elsie Pollock, and her brother Charles “Bud” Brickman.
Eva leaves to mourn three daughters Carolyn Bartlett, Barbara Clow, Terry Nash, three sons Merle Anderson Jr., Dale Anderson, Bill Anderson, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and a lifetime of friends.
Graveside services will be held for Eva Anderson on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Carbon Cemetery. If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Homes are in care of the arrangements.
