In Loving Memory of Douglas Walter Huene
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Douglas Walter Huene ("Doug") on June 16, 2026, at the age of 68.
Doug will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Tammy Huene; his parents, Ted Huene and Katherine Huene; his mother-in-law, Judy Hunter; his brother, Ted Huene (Sally Robinson); his children, Chad & Krista Huene and Chase & Brandy Huene; and his cherished grandchildren, Kevin, Cheyenne, Alayna, Dimitri, and Zaidee Huene.
Doug was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, son-in-law, and friend. Throughout his life, he built lasting relationships and was known for his generous spirit, sharp wit, and willingness to help those around him. He enjoyed spending time with family, sharing stories and laughter, and creating memories that will be treasured for years to come.
Doug had a special love for Mexico, where he formed many meaningful friendships and spent countless happy moments. Whether at home or abroad, he had a way of connecting with people and leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Above all else, Doug was proud of his family. His greatest joy came from watching his children and grandchildren grow and succeed. The lessons he shared, the support he provided, and the love he gave will continue to guide those who knew and loved him.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the outpouring of love, support, prayers, condolences, and acts of kindness received during this difficult time.
