Dennis “Nick” Michael Kashuba, 63, passed away on August 9, 2025. He was born on August 24, 1961, in Drumheller, Alberta, to Nick and Lena Kashuba. Dennis was the youngest of his siblings, Walter, George, David, Stephen, Larry, and Susan. He spent his early years working on the family farm in Rumsey. Dennis later became a talented plumber, a trade he practiced for decades with skill and pride. Before retiring from the profession, he was honoured to work alongside his son, Wes, with Kashuba Heating and Air Conditioning. In more recent years, he enjoyed passing time in the shop, making all sorts of woodwork creations.
Known to friends and family as “Nick,” Dennis will be remembered for his generous heart and his ability to connect with anyone he met. Much time was enjoyed with his closest brother, Larry. He cherished time with his children, grandchildren, and the grand-dogs.
Dennis is survived by his son Wes Kashuba and wife Taylor, and their children Frankie and Sawyer; his daughter Nicole Kashuba; and her children Emelia and Rylan. His legacy will live on through his family, the craftsmanship he left behind, and the countless memories shared.
A celebration of Dennis’s life will be held on a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to STARS Air Ambulance - Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service Foundation, Charitable Registration No. 81845 9521 RR0001.
Forever remembered and deeply missed.
