It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our cousin Dalton L. Madsen on April 7, 2026 in Red Deer, Alberta at the age of 68 years.

Dalton was born to Tom and Elsie Madsen on November 16, 1958 in Drumheller, Dalton grew up on the family farm in Dalum, he took his schooling in the Drumheller Valley.  Dalton took over the family farm once his parents retired.  Dalton was a kind man, always had time to stop and say hello, his presence will be missed by his family, his neighbours and his friends.

Dalton was predeceased by his parents Tom and Elsie, his uncle, and his aunt.

Dalton leaves to cherish his memory his cousins; Andy & Pam, Brent, Paul & Deanne, Brian & Theresa, Patricia, Dwight & Lorie, Sandy & John, Jim & Sue and their families.

Celebration of Life will be held for Dalton on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church,  Dalum, Alberta. Luncheon will take place at the Dalum Fire Hall.   A private family interment will be held at a later date.
