Blaine W. Honish

Blaine Honish born January 12, 1954, of Drumheller, Alberta left us February 24, 2023 at the Drumheller Health Centre surrounded by his family.

Blaine is survived by his wife Joyce Patterson, daughter Susan Heald (Darrell), step daughter Cindy Leonard (Bob), his special “adopted” son Rodney Leblanc, his brother Curtis Honish (Linda), his sisters Marlene (Al) Brown, Rosemarie (Rod) Bage, Agnes (Dennis) Terhove, Joyce (Barry) Nixon, sister-in-law Dawn Honish, grandchildren Brayden & Brooklyn Heald, Scott & Brent Leonard, many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many friends.

Blaine was predeceased by his father Wilfred Honish, mother Jean Honish, step mother Alice Honish, grandparents John and Magdaline Honish, Joseph and Katherine Paradis, brothers Louis Honish, Kelvin Honish, sister Mary Honish, step sister Fern Jackson, nephews Kelvin Jr. Honish, Kevin Honish and Trevor Honish.

A celebration of Blaine’s life will be determined at a later date this summer in Toutes Aids Cemetery, Manitoba.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
