Anna Mae Leona Taylor (nee Drennan)

Annie passed away on July 14, 2024, at the Drumheller Health Centre in Continuing Care at the age of 83.

Annie was born to T.J. & Gladys Drennan in Goderich, Ontario on July 22, 1940.  She is survived by brothers Joe of Burlington, Ont., Ron (Denise) of Fonthill, Ont., Gene (Caroline) of Victoria, B.C., sister Evonne /Bonnie (Cliff) Young of Drumheller, AB., sisters- in- law Susan and former sister-in-law Barb, grandson Bradley Taylor of London, Ont., ten nieces and nephews, Mary, Ken, Sherril, Debbie, Mike, Laura, Susan, Sherry, T.J., and Kathleen.  Annie’s nieces and nephews always looked forward to the unique and odd gifts she found for them on her many shopping sprees for birthdays and Christmas.

Annie was predeceased by her parents T.J. & Gladys Drennan, brother Arnold and his first wife Jane, first husband Alan Johansson, son John Eugene Taylor, sister-in-law Marg Drennan, nephews Bill and David, niece Lesley.  Annie was divorced from second husband Jack Taylor.

Annie worked for the Bank of Montreal for 25 years in Ontario.  She enjoyed knitting, books, John
Wayne movies, cats, and shopping.  She will be dearly missed by her loving family.

She spent the last nine years in extended care in the Drumheller Health Centre with Dementia.  Annie is now finally at peace and resting comfortably.

There will be no formal funeral services for Annie.

Annie’s family wish to thank all the wonderful Staff at the Drumheller Health Centre for the fantastic care they gave to Annie.
