Andre Joseph Rene Duplin

Andre Joseph Renee Duplin, beloved father, brother, and grandfather, passed away on September 25th, 2023, in Drumheller Alberta. He was born on February 17th, 1946, to Laurent and Eleanor Duplin in Saint -Michel, Montreal. 

Andre was preceded in death by his siblings, Gerard Duplin (late Colleen), Paul Duplin (Emily), Lise Paquette (late Elphage), Diane Treberg (late Henry), and Francine Turmel (Gerard). He is survived by his brother Guy Duplin (Germaine), Christine Turned (Laurent), Raymond Duplin (Michelle) and late Lucy Duplin.

Andre was a loving father to his children Lise and Mark Duplin. He also had a long and fulfilling relationship of 30 years with his late partner, Ruby Castets. Together they formed a blended family, including stepchildren Millie Reville and Petula Sprague.

Andre adored his grandchildren, Jacob, Stevie and Allie Reviile, Raynie and Roman Waid. He treasured his role as Papa to his grandkids and always made sure to create lasting memories with them.

Throughout his life, Andre worked as a dedicated lumberjack, spending countless hours in the woods he loved so dearly. He had a deep appreciation for nature and found solace in its beauty. In his free time, Andrew enjoyed gambling, playing bingo, and visiting the casino, always seeking a thrill and excitement.

Andre Duplin will be remembered for his kind heart, adventurous spirit, and love for his family. He leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
