Adam Horehlad of Drumheller beloved husband of the late Pauline passed away peacefully at the Drumheller Health Centre on March 25, 2020 at the age of 95 years.
Adam was born in Belarus on January 31, 1925. He moved to Drumheller with his sister Mary as a young man in his twenties. Adam was a miner in the Alberta Coal mine, artifacts of his can be found there. Also, he worked as a finishing carpenter for many years in Drumheller (Windsor Plywood). Adam loved his dinosaurs so much that he always had one out in front of his home to greet his guest.
Adam leaves to mourn his sisters, Mary Malejko, Margaret Zoldi, niece Virginia Malejko, great nephews, Adam (Malejko), Michael (Cox), great nieces, Tracy (Normandeau), Wendy (Shearer), Roberta (Malejko), Katrina (Malejko), great great nephews, Morgan (Cox), Logan (Shearer), Auston Smith, great great nieces, Mackenzie (Cox), Catlin (Cox), Lainey (Normandeau), Selina (Malejko) and a lifetime of friends.
A private family service will be held, with interment at the Drumheller Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Homes are in care of the arrangements.
