Isabella is predeceased by her loving husband Henry Philip Grenier (October 9, 1978), parents Andy & Helen Armstrong, siblings Meg, Violet, Ruby, Tom as well as grandchildren Scott Heptonstall and Amanda Long. Isabella was born in Scotland, February 21, 1917 and came to Canada at 2 years of age on the Minadoso sailing ship. Isa’s family was her heart and joy. Her life was a living example of a great bible verse, Ephesians 4:32, “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ”. Isa had a passion for the outdoors looking to the sky, climbing the Drumheller Valley hills, walks with her daughter, spending time gardening, baking, reading, going to That’s Crafty, yard sales and eating jelly beans.
If tears could build a stairway we’d walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. Thank you for giving us the most wonderful years and the most beautiful life.
And the story goes on ~ until we meet our Mother again. We love you and miss you.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Saint Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Drumheller at 1:00 p.m. with Father Fernando Genogaling officiating.
