Clayton Bickford

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Clayton Bickford at the Drumheller Health Centre surrounded by the amazing love of his family; his wife Coral, his son Sean, his daughter Kim, his sister Grace and his brother Howard on January 21, 2019.

Clayton was born on February 18, 1954 at Bell Island, NFLD to Hubert and Violet Bickford.  Clayton married Coral in 1976, they had two children, son Sean and daughter Kim.  Clayton worked at Samuels Plumbing and Heating for 33 years, upon his leaving, he started up Bickford Heating and Air Conditioning.  Clayton had a generous heart and a kindness about him, he was always willing to give whomever a helping hand.  He will be sadly missed by his loving family and a lifetime of friends.

Clayton leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 42 years; Coral, son Sean (Shealyn) Bickford, daughter Kim (Chad) Moar, grandsons; Dylan & Zach Moar, and a granddaughter due in March.  Sisters & Brothers; Bernice, Grace (Ken), Howard (Edna deceased), (Inez deceased), Linda, Rennie, Olive (Carl), Wilfred, Ruth (Ray), Sherry (Peter), Carl (Michelle), Clayton’s inlaws; Bev (Bob deceased), and Floyd (Shirley deceased), numerous nieces and nephews.

Clayton was predeceased by his parents; Hubert and Violet Bickford.

As per Clayton’s wishes there will be no formal funeral service.  If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to Salvation Army Food Bank, Box 3097, Drumheller, Alberta, Drumheller, Alberta, T0J 0Y0  Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Homes are in care of the arrangements.

We would like to take this time to thank all the professional caregivers and Dr. L.A. Olfert for the wonderful care they gave to Clayton, also we would like to thank Steve Huculak and Murray Williams for their love and support given to Clayton and myself through this journey.
