Adabelle "Ada" Alberta Morrow

Adabelle Alberta Morrow of Wayne, Alberta beloved wife of the late Donald Morrow passed away peacefully on December 23, 2019 at the age of 86 years.

Adabelle “Ada” was born on May 28, 1933 to Christine & Robert Goodfellow at Wayne, Alberta.  Ada took her schooling in the Drumheller Valley.

Ada was a hard worker, she enjoyed being a farm housewife and raising her family.  She was also the owner of a local restaurant.  Ada was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, the Elks Club.  Ada loved cake decorating, music and her family.

Ada leaves to cherish her memory; three daughters, Debra Gilroy, Tari Coad, Roberta (Gerry) Cook, two sons, Edward Lee and David Lee.  Grandchildren; Nadine, Jolene, Francis, Nathan, Sabrina, Billy, Jim, David, Melissa, Christine, Jeffery, Amanda, Amarra, Tanner, Sean, and Miranda, Great Grandchildren; Zackery, Tijia, Brooklynn, Xavier, Zaydan, Aubrey, Kaden, Aspen, Levi, brother in law Kenneth Morrow, step daughters Kathy Morrow, Diane Woodward, Janet Morrow and numerous nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of friends.

Besides Ada’s loving husband Don Morrow, she was predeceased by her parents Christine & Robert Goodfellow, siblings Robert, Morse, Margaret and Faye Goodfellow, her son Robert (Bob) Lee, her step daughter Colleen (nee Morrow) Adair, her son in law Robert Coad, brothers in law Ken Ferguson, Bill Lindsay, and sister in law Donna Morrow.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 7:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M. on Friday, January 3, 2020 at Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Homes.

Funeral Services for Ada Morrow will be held Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Knox United Church with Reverend Heather Carlson officiating, interment will follow at the Drumheller Cemetery.  The family invites everyone to join them for lunch at the Knox Hall following the interment services.
